We’ve just brought on several new staff members and featured artists rooted in the design community. So, we thought why not have a design-themed contest? To enter: create a graphic piece that pushes design innovation into stand-alone art using the theme “abnormal”. Rules are simple, and entries must follow the guidelines set forth below.

Please email all entries and questions to ka-os@abnormis.com. If you feel your attachment may be too large, you can zip it or email me a link to the image. All entries will be uploaded to a special contest gallery we've set up on Abnormis, so our members can view and leave comments on each submission.

All entries must be in by June 6, 2003, at which point the Abnormis Staff will wade through them, pick a winner and a runner-up. Any entries that don't follow the guidelines listed below will be disqualified. The winner will be announced on Monday June 9, 2003.

Rules:

- Designs must follow the overall theme of “abnormal”
- Graphic piece can be any shape or size between 640 x 480 and 1600 x 1200 pixels.
- Deadline is Sunday June 6, 2003 midnight CST.
- Make sure to include your name and the title of your piece in your email

*Abnormis reserves the right to extend the contest deadline if a suitable 1st and 2nd place winner are not found in the submissions received.*

1st Prize:
6 months of Bronze Web hosting, with free blogger and gallery set-up through Abnormis.net... plus a spot in the upcoming Abnormis design gallery.

2nd Prize:
3 months of Nickel Web, with free blogger and gallery set-up... plus spot in the upcoming Abnormis Design gallery.
