reports, May 25, 2003In the time I have spent on DA I have noticed a number of individual groups devoted to their own country and it's heritage. Now I feel that Ireland deserves it's own area.
Ireland is renowned for its unique culture and friendly attitude.
Writers such as Seamus Heaney, James Joyce, Oscar Wilde, WB Yeats and Bram Stoker have placed Irish literature among the most respected in the world.
The unique Celtic art, an Icon of old, recognized throughout the world leads on to more modern works by Nathaniel Hone, impressionist painter Roderic O'Conor and Fiona Farell.
So much more to mention, so little time.
Now, I feel we too should become part of this impressive Irish art and culture and create a new community to show our respect.
For those Leprechauns and Pixies from the Emerald Isles, now is your chance to be proud of your background and unite as Irish. Tiocfaidh Ar La
