Crocodile Street is a collaborative effort combining the work of artists and writers to create an entirely immersive online storytelling environment. They are currently accepting submissions for the upcoming first issue.
Writers:
Crocodile Street is accepting submissions of short stories (under 3000 words) and poetry that falls along the lines of light fantasy, dark speculative fiction, magic realism, fairy tales, the mythic, the absurd, the Kafkaesque, and general attempts to puncture the skin of reality.
Submissions must be well written, spin some magic, and lend themselves well to illustrative interpretation. Submissions must be emailed as Microsoft Word or Rich Text attachments AND pasted in the body of an email to
submissions@ crocodilestreet.com.
Crocodile Street does not pay for published work at this time.
Artists:
If you are interested in illustrating for Crocodile Street, send a site URL for portfolio review of a few jpeg samples to
art@crocodilestreet.com.
First issue is slated for December.
