Brilliant and controversial architect Frank O. Gehry is being highlighted in a current exhibition at the MOCA in Los Angeles, CA. His use of non-typical materials in extreme ways has made his buildings stand out amongst their surroundings, often times to the discomfort and dismay of the communities they are built in (Gehry was actually shot at while building a project in Westwood, Ca by neighbors of the house he was working on!). The individual can look upon his creations with mixed feelings, but always know that they are looking at a Gehry. One of the true originals of Architecture, this exhibition on Frank O. Gehry is coinciding with the completion of His Walt Disney Concert Hall, located less that a mile from the MOCA in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles.
For more information on this exhibition and others go to the
MOCA website.
