Recently, deviantART's CEO, $spyed, posted a task request to everyone reading his journal. The task asked for each deviant to change their signature to the following:

Comment, to get comments.
Share your kindness, not your hate.
Love the art, before yourself.

The truly devious artist welcomed into this community follows this general guideline of conduct and it is you who make this community worthwhile. But with deviantART expanding so rapidly, there is an ever growing number of llamas that do not.

A llama posts personal photographs and webcam shots to the site. We, the deviantART community do not welcome you.

A llama acts like a moron in the forums, posting entirely off topic disrespectful blather that helps no cause, has no purpose, and is riddled with self-promotion and ripe with stupidity. And again, we the deviantART community, do not welcome you.

A llama finds confrontation easy, and love difficult. And there is no true deviant that appreciates or welcomes you.

Now that you’re at the end of this article, you will soon be back to navigating through all of your favorite art and reading your favorite forums and posts. But remember this writing the next time you see a llama peeing on your parade, and remember that the collective rectum is with you. One day, we’ll have banned them all,
it just takes time my friends.
