1) Where are you from, and how do you feel that it affects your work?
I'm from Lemgo, Germany. It's a pretty small town, but I don't think it influenced my works much. I'm more influenced (landscape wise) by my frequent visits to France and the French Pyrenees. In fact only my latest work (the mill) is a motive near my home. Anyway I'll be moving to Heidelberg, Germany next month...
2) What is your favorite work in your gallery, and why?
I can't pick a single one for sure; since after all I am not content with them every single one still has its flaws. It might be safe to say that my current favorite is "winters breath" in poster size, since it's the most recent made
The older a work of mine gets, the more little flaws I discover. Best of my old are perhaps below the waterline"
[link] and "faster than your car
[link] , both in poster size.
3) What do you hope to achieve with your art?
Not much. What I actually do is making photography desktop compatible. Well, kind of. Sure I'm happy that many people enjoy my works, but I do them for myself in the first place. That might be a reason why I'm still creating low contrast winamp skins...
4) Who is one of your biggest influences, and why?
I don't think there was much influence on my work yet. When I made my first vector like wallpaper, it just happened to be pretty unique. Even though I think there was a basic influence by the customize.org community where I started to publish. Just to name one of the many: ~
colossus72 , whose works showed me that landscape vector is quite possible, even though he had a very abstract style.
5) Any words of wisdom for your fellow deviants?
I'm too young to share any wisdom I don't have. Just buy my prints

I hope others like it too
3) What do you hope to achieve with your art?
I am just enjoying creating for others, something that all will like and this will be useful, I know I have some unpopular works in my gallery, but I am not missing my own mistakes and simple teaches on it, teaches on mistakes

1) Does your environment affect your work? If so, how so? If not, what affects you?
I think my environment affects me because the area I've grown up in and my family are all nice and I don't think I've been exposed to many horrible things. I think this is why I'm good at caricatures and that cartoony style. I don't think I'm naive but I just prefer to amuse people rather than disgust them.
2) What is your favorite work in your gallery, and why?
I like my O brother where art thou (part 2). It's more of a completed work than some of my other things. It's more of what you might see in a magazine (that's what I'm shooting for). I like my realistic things but that's more execution from observation rather than imagination and creativity.
3) What do you hope to achieve with your art?
I'm hoping to build a portfolio that could get me a job or jobs (if I go freelance) as a professional illustrator.
4) Who is one of your biggest influences, and why?
I draw a lot of inspiration from Sebastian Kruger AND Norman Rockwell. Kruger for his creativity and diversity and Rockwell for his storytelling and work ethic.
5) Any words of wisdom for your fellow deviants?
I think people need to try and explore different things. I've criticized people in the past for only doing anime and fantasy art, I just think that not enough people try to develop their own style in whatever they're preferred subjects are. I don't hate anime and fantasy, I just don't like when people do exactly the same as what someone else has done just at lower quality.

1) Does your environment affect your work? If so, how so? If not, what affects you?
Environment doesn't affect me as much as my state of mind in regards to my work. If I'm in a freaky mood it's freaky art time. Really doesn't have much to do with where I am or the weather or anything like that.
2) What is your favorite work in your gallery, and why?
I'd have to say my favorite piece so far is Love of a Demon Angel. The reason is this piece has made more people stand up and take notice of my stuff. That is kind of a selfish and swer but it is an honest one.
3) What do you hope to achieve with your art?
Well I'd love to say I want to be noted as a great painter and so on, but right now all I want to be able to do is make a living with my art. I would also love to do a live show in an actual art gallery.
But my ultimate goal is just to be the best I can be with it and possibly make a buck or two.
4) Who is one of your biggest influences, and why?
I would have to say right now it's Drew Posada. His art is so fluid and amazing to me. And he does his the same way I do mine. Happy coincidence there.
5) Any words of wisdom for your fellow deviants?
Basically just keep practicing and try not to loose hope or give up on your dreams.
