Rest In Peace, Michael " ~sentenced4life " O'Bryan
May 16, 1983 - January 17, 2004

After a sudden battle with cancer, Michael passed away today at the age of 20.

Michael was diagnosed with sarcoma (cancerous tumors) which effected his bowels some time ago. The doctors at Toledo Medical College Hospital have since been attempting to shrink it with chemotherapy. However, the therapy was causing undesired side-effects, so they had stopped the treatment. After being stable for two weeks, Michael was found to have pneumonia and the cancer had spread to his lungs. After being on life support for the past several weeks, Michael was taken off to end his pain and suffering.

In a tight-knit community such as ours, any loss is of great sorrow. But Michael's is especially hard to hear since he was such a friend to many. He was known as a friendly and funny man who was always a true friend. Anyone who had the pleasure of interacting with him has left with nothing but positive thoughts. He was a role model for all.

In the coming days, a donation site will be set up to help Michael's family pay the bills that have accumulated over the time of his sickness. Michael's mother would like to thank all who have sent gifts, flowers, and letters of support to her son. She would like to let everyone know that their wishes did not go unnoticed and she very much appreciates them.
