Suture Supplements Number One: Editor Favorites

*suture:iconsuture: reports, May 11, 2004

Suture Supplements Number One - Editor Favorites

I took the liberty of poking around in our favorites lists to come up with some features. Unlike the features in our regular issues, these poems were not voted on by the Board - they are simply poems that Editors thought enough of to +fave. I tried to select writers who haven't been featured yet, or writers who aren't associated with Suture, but that proved impossible - ~groovus snuck in, that wiley SOB.

Enjoy.

I am fascinated with this. I love your ability to evoke vivid imagery without the unnecessary adornment of overly broad vocabulary. It is an impressive skill. -- ~wu-wei

Nice, very nice. D I wish there was prose here, though.
:iconjarafrica:
I agree with ~nilocnag , this is all fine, but it would be nice to see some prose work. Maybe next time?

This is just a supplement to our main issues - picks of the editor's favorites, which just so happened to be poetry this time around. In our real issues, we do make an effort to include a good amount of prose pieces. Here we don't have as much control over that.

Thanks for the interest :).

I will be discussing a similar prose release with other editors.
