10 ways to Express Art – Part III

*ki-liana:iconki-liana: reports, 1d 1h ago
The project started as a mean to collect amazing artists all around deviant in a random way or as well for already personal recognition of the same, this is ONLY for the sake of art, no favoritism or popularity has anything to do with this, only REAL good art will enter in these articles, and the art exposed in here is what we personally consider the best of the best.

Protest through excellency

~randompixels:iconrandompixels: reports, 1d 12h ago
I've met many so-called artists who, through their poor art, become more popular than the real artists and make them lose their confidence. Therefore, I decided to protest by excellence using the methods, to do something for the great artists who have something to say but who are underrated because of the huge amount of poor "art". Man Ray Exhibition, Brisbane, Australia

~leakyspider:iconleakyspider: reports, May 31, 2004

Man Ray (1890–1976) was an experimental photographer, film-maker and painter. He was the founding member of the dada movement and a key figure in the surrealist movement.

His most famous works are his stunning black and white photographic portraits taken in Paris and Hollywood.

This exhibition features around 200 works including a small amount of unpublished work.

Get along and see it before 18 July at the Queensland Art Gallery. Attendance is free.

For more information, visit the Queensland Art Gallery Website.

I went to see this show just recently, and I can certaintly say it's a wonderful exhibit to see, especially for young aspiring photographers wanting to get into the types of solarisiation and silver-gelitin photography :)

Now this is what I'm talking about. He was a master - and the man who created the 'Rayograph'. I mean, who can't forget the tears of glass beads? Great article, and I'm glad someone got to see it... ( `newklear )

 You and me both mate, you and me both. The school took us as part of the senior Art curriculum, and I must say the brilliance of his work was amazing.

It's a shame you didn't get to come see it bro, it's a bloody good show
