Deviants all over Britain will be making their way to Birmingham, England for the 4th official UK devMEET.

Itinerary

I understand that a lot of the attendees are going to be Birmingham virgins, so wear your comfy shoes! We'll be taking a nice circular tour of the second capital. Don't forget to pack your camera, as there are numerous photography opportunities here.

The photographers amongst us will have the chance to capture the Birmingham skyline's special new icon, the Selfridges building, and there are various other points of architectural and aesthetic interest to be found in Brum.

Shopaholics can take a moment out to browse through the shops within the newly designed Bullring if they wish. I recommend even those uninterested in shopping to have a gander at this splendid redevelopment of an area with high historic value.

We'll pass the Rotunda, Victoria Square and the Symphony Hall, and wind around the waterways in Birmingham's trendy Brindleyplace district.

Ultimately we'll end up at Broadway Plaza's Bowlplex, consisiting of bowling alleys, bar and grill, video arcade, and 11-table pool pit, where we can all sit down, get something to eat and drink and have some fun.

Here's also where you'll be able to catch a rare glimpse of *nasigoreng, as he is joining the meet later in the day.

The tentative meeting time is 12pm, to allow those further afield to reach Birmingham -- though those local to the area are likely to meet up earlier.
