It's that time of year again, the shank end of the year when temperatures in the northern hemisphere plummet, the hunter's moon rises, the vegetation has decayed, and all capped off with Halloween in many countries. Things dark, goth, or alternative thrive all year 'round, of course, but fit so well for this time of year, it's almost cliché. Nevertheless, and cliché or not, what better time of year to revel in the dark lushness and elegance of so many artworks from the Artisan Crafts gallery?

As the first pack of the new year, we aimed to have a creatively themed collection of material, the strong focus being on the idea of "breaking free" and "abnormality". The members of Oxygenetic's roster came together and critically thought about how to create fresh abstract artworks and designs to contribue to the abstract genre. We believe the members came through with fresh new work and made Anomaly a collection of their best works to date.
