The first
Seeds Of Change Photography Competition has been announced in associatioon with the Observer Food Monthly Magazine. The Award offers a First Prize of £10,000 for images inspired by food that capture a memory, an emotion, a story.
This year's theme is
Feed Your Imagination with three categories: Still Life, Portrait and Reportage. Closing date for entries is 17th July 2005.
The winner and runners up will have their images featured in the September issue of OFM as well as being part of an exhibition at the.gallery@oxo at the Oxo Tower in London's South Bank. The judging panel includes a number of renowned professional photographers and food types.

A 'Food Monthly' magazine? Sounds like an anorexic publication.
It seems to me like this contest is going to sprout food disorders. Someone's going to be recovering from a gastric bypass, see these pictures, eat an entire Thanksgiving meal (including a can of cranberry sauce) and explode.
