The foundation of art begins with expression. Even in its simplest form, artistic expression has the power to invoke the deepest of emotion and enlighten the most constricted of thoughts. Expression defines us as individuals while bonding us together as a creative group; fusing our artistic energy in a collective arena. It is with this premise that neosynthesis.net has once again spread its wings with the unveiling of Neosynthesis.net: Evolution of Expression.

We have furthered our powerful talent with the additions of *AutumnsGoddess, =tribalkitty and =restrain. Their creations, along with the rest of the Art Group, are showcased in the latest bi-monthly Chronicle: Shades of Grey. By removing the element of color, we have taken art back to its purest form of shadow and light. The bold exploration of Shades of Grey includes photography, traditional mediums, photo art/manipulation, 3D and several collaborative efforts.

To further enhance our community experience, we have also begun our series of Articles and Interviews. This month you will find invaluable information on watercolors and canvas preparation from Kevin Garner (*gunfighter6), as well as several interviews which include Andrea Kerr, Grey Martin and our very own Justin Maylone.

We are also pleased to feature a short film “Awareness” by Michel Winckler-Krog (~Malach) and crew. This raw, sensual production captures the very essence of the emotion attached to the evolutionary process of expression. A visually stimulating experience, coupled with an intense soundtrack, this film is not to be missed!
