The Mozilla Organization has released version 1.0.5 of the Firefox web browser. This latest update contains several security fixes and improvements to stability, and it is recommended that all users upgrade to this latest version.
What's new in Firefox 1.0.5:

- Code execution through shared function objects
- XHTML node spoofing
- Javascript prompt origin spoofing
- Standalone applications can run arbitrary code through the browser
- Same origin violation: frame calling top.focus()
- The return of frame-injection spoofing
- Possibly exploitable crash in InstallVersion.compareTo()
- Script injection from Firefox sidebar panel using data:
- Same-origin violation with InstallTrigger callback
- Code execution via "Set as Wallpaper"
- XBL scripts ran even when Javascript disabled
- Content-generated event vulnerabilities

For the brave, the Deer Park Firefox 1.1 Alpha 2 is also out and has a few other changes. Granted it's for developers only, but it will give you a good idea of where FireFox will be headed to in the future.
