Featured Emoticon Deviations
A day doesn't go by where most users don't end at least one sentence with a emoticon, but many people overlook these icons as artistic creations. However, lately deviantart's emoticon gallery has been growing in popularity, and more new artists turn to the gallery. "F.E.D." (Featured Emoticon Deviations) takes a peek into the catagory's best entries, so count on seeing it once a month. Here's a look at emotes from late june and july:

I just don't like the logo image, the enlarged emotes are fine, but the text (especially the font) doesn't seem to fit in at all. Perhaps the name could be better too, something more descriptive than just an acronym.
