Live #Photography Tutorial: Lighting
After a bit of a hiatus, #Photography is proud to bring you our next live tutorial session with =Adoniram!
This is a subject we have been asked to cover the most, so we’re bowing to public pressure…
=Adoniram is a master of lighting as anyone who visits his gallery will quickly see. He has worked for companies such as the Boston Beers Company and Wild Turkey Bourbon. His photos have been published in magazines such as Food and Wine, Maxim Magazine, and Stuff Magazine among others.
=Adoniram will be covering:
Basic lighting techniques
Understanding lighting ratios
Mixing different source lighting (such as continuous light, strobes, and daylight)
How to create lighting and light modifiers on a budget
Specularity and differences in surfaces and reflectivity
Tips and hints for the beginning studio photographer
As previously, we will have several Q&A sessions throughout the tutorial, and also again at the end.
Where: #Photography
When: Saturday August 20th , 9pm LA time (Find your local time for this date)
Please pay careful attention to time zones, as some places are currently observing daylight saving time (DST)
