It has been so a long time since the last Vietnamese magazine for comics was postponed being published with the regret of billions of readers, all of them retired to practise more and more together with the hope that they will reappear one day. But the long-draw-out disapperance of Vietnamese Comics seems to make us feel the void, even discouragement. So, in order to follow the spirit of the Indepandence Day of Socialist Republic of Vietnam 2/9, commemorate the 1st Birthday of VNComicFarm - a community reserved only for Vietnamese Comics, simultaneously to congratulate the Collection of Vietnam's Arts ([link]) is ranked among the top collections of DA several days, to stir the air of Vietnamese Comics' friends up, DeviantArt Vietnamese Community and VNComicFarm co-ordinate to hold:

Welcome one and all to my
"Budding Manga Artists" Feature. As we know, artists from all over the world
have become enraptured by the Japanese sense of comics and cartooning.
An artform most simply refer to as "anime" or "manga".

Every week, I plan to bring to you some of our lesser known manga artists
on DA. Artists with budding talent and big hearts, who are destined to
develop their skills above and beyond!

Bakamiu's art is cute and varied in style.
Her knack for a wonderful balance of color seems to pull her body of work all together.
