Dead Silence Movie Contest Winners

lolly:iconlolly: reports, March 15, 2007
From the writer and director of the international phenomenon Saw comes an experience on the razor's edge of fear, Dead Silence. There is an old ghost story in the sleepy town of Ravens Fair about Mary Shaw, a ventriloquist who went mad. Accused of the murder of a young boy, she was hunted down by vengeful townspeople who cut out her tongue and killed her. They buried her along with her "children," a hand-made collection of vaudeville dolls.

Unknown Artists - September Feature

$Moonbeam13:iconMoonbeam13: reports, September 8, 2005

The primary focus of the Unknown Artists Project is to expose talented, yet underrated, artists on deviantArt. In spirit of that goal, we will present to the community a monthly feature showcasing unknown artists in photography, traditional art, digital art and literature. This month ^serpentinekiss joins us as a guest to feature unknown artists in fetish photography.

`garrit and ^alyn have made some great suggestions this time. I'll be checking those out in particular, since some of the others aren't my taste perhaps. Good work to everybody. . . it's always nice to see this a success. :star:

Great choice of the ~Covington there, :ndifference:. Something for all tastes in those Literature selections, too, with the minimalism of *MissWetTShirt and the (aww, I want to say maximalism!) fullness of ~poppyluke's ChickenWire.

A tiny request, specifically for the Literature pieces: can we have the standard thumbnail view in the listings above as the titles will grab folks in, and the artists themselves will get more exposure if their usernames were visible here too?

Regards,

James

It would be neat if the tooltips worked, especially for Literature Selections... right now I have to click blindly since many Lit Thumbs look the same... </idle_suggestion>

Some very nice stuff again! My two first-look favs are "MS- the Gift from Fenix" and "The Hunt" (both selected by `twosilverstars), but I'll give things a closer look (and comments) after lunch. :)

lots of boring stuff, the good picture kills the good idea in here.

Great feature, very high in quality. Must check out those literature features, though the other ones look really good as well. I hadn't even noticed %WallOfTruth is an admin these days.

Alice came to a fork in the road...
"Which road do I take?"she asked.
"Where do you want to go?"responded the Cheshire cat.
"I don't know,"Alice answered.
Then said the cat,"it doesn't matter"
