I make my living writing about software and of course as an artist software meant for the creation of art has a special place in my heart. Paint Shop Pro 9 is the best image editor I've tried so far, I much prefer it to even Photoshop. If PSP 10 is actually further improved it's going to be a fantastic piece of software.

PSP has always been very fast, but the loading time has been somewhat disappointing - even if still much quicker than with many other programs. I hope their promises hold true. "Smart Photo Fix" doesn't sound like anything particularly revolutionary, since PSP has already had "One Step Photo Fix", which combines many different tools in one and most of the time the results are excellent. But I was very happy to hear about the new red-eye fix tool, as it was the only tool I didn't like in PSP 9. I'm so looking forward to trying out this thing, I really hope I won't be disappointed.
