ResFest 2005
This years touring digital film festival kicks off this month
With the first stop in New York, the ResFest will be hitting more than 35 cities throughout North America, Europe and Asia. It will showcase the years best short films, music videos and animation with screenings, live music events and workshops.
This years festival spotlights Beck in the Artist Retrospective Program. As well, two different musical programs highlight new videos from such bands as The Arcade Fire, The Flaming Lips, LCD Soundsystem, The Chemical Brothers, Bloc Party and more.
The festival will also be the arena for special screenings by the most daring documentary filmmakers, including the world premiere of Doug Prays Infamy, which chronicles the lives of notorious graffiti artists.
Ghost in the Shell II premieres at Resfest London. The long-awaited sequel to the anime classic will be shown on Wednesday, September 28.
