For *ThePhotoCritic's one year anniversary, we are bringing you a new contest!

How Well Do You Know Your Own??

The purpose of this contest is to see how good you know your fellow members. Non-members can participate in the second half of the contest, but the first half is going to need the help and support of our wonderful members.

So right now, is a really good chance to make sure your icon is in our Member's List. You have until the end of the first phase of this contest to join our club so that you can fully participate in this contest.

Part 1: Rules
Members: Submit a photo to the club, but this time not as a deviation. This has to be a brand new photo (no theme) just in your normal style.
This photo cannot be anywhere else on the internet (until the contest is over)
Submit the photo by e-mailing it to Dellasworks@hotmail.com.
The photo must be no more than 900 pixels in width or height
The photo must not be framed or watermarked, or contain any other identification marks. Just the plain photo.
The only manipulation we will allow is color corection/brightness/contrast/hue etc.
The photo cannot contain recognizable faces or places that could connect it to your gallery
Before your photo is submitted to our gallery, we will remove the EXIF data attatched to the file, and put a small black boarder around each entry with the words "ENTRY #" in the boarder. If you would like to title your piece, add your title in the e-mail and that will also be written in the boarder.

Part 2: Rules - open to all deviantART members
Over the month the members have to submit their photos, the club will then post these photos to its gallery without saying which photo belongs to which member.
The contest will be to correctly associate as many photos to their creators as possible. This way we encourage the participants to thoroughly examine the members' galleries to try and find out what their style is, what their 'language' is and thus identify which one of the submitted photos they could have produced.

To Submit Your Answers:
You will need to send a note, with the numbers 1-however many submissions we have. Then after each number, you will write the name of the member you think the photo belongs to.

You can only submit your ballot once. So make sure your answers are what you want them to be, before you submit it.

Dates and Deadlines
The first part of the contest will go from January 20th to February 23rd. Remember, if you want to participate in this part of the contest, but you are not yet a memeber, you have this whole month to be accepted to the club, and participate in the contest.

Winners
The winners of this contest will be the member who was guessed correctly the most, as well as the person who got the most members correctly matched to the photos.

It would be easy to try to pursuade the members to tell you which submission is theirs. If a member of the club tells you which submission is theirs, I ask the members to please report the deviant to *ThePhotoCritic for immediate disqualification.

Prizes
The winners will each recieve a 6 month subscription to deviantART. (courtesy of =Doubtful-Della and =stumbleine179)

The winners will also be featured in *ThePhotoCritic's journal, as well as =Doubtful-Della's journal.

Prizes are also open for donation. So if you would like to donate some of the subscriptions, or would like to advertise this contest and the winners in your journal, we would be happy to accept. If we get enough donations for subscriptions, we will also have a second place winner.
