1. What is it?
The PIXELATION QUILT PROJECT is for everyone. It's quite simple!
Create an image based on the template below. Submit the image to deviantART and leave a note in this journal entry or this news article for =-black-eye-, the dA versions project originator and orchestrator, to pick up.
2. What are the restictions?
- Submissions must be pixeled by hand.
- Must have something to do with old retro console games (like old Nintendo or Sega consoles)
- Images should be exactly 100x100 pixels tall
3. Be a part!
This is the official template for this project:
You can use any color you want to use. The only thing you have to do is keep the outer parts transparent. Please try to avoid drawing over the black lines, since the patches will be placed together.
4. Examples
Remember that the current theme is retro gaming ;)
Additional information
The original idea for this project is by someone from the old pixelation board in 2003. We can't remember who! If you know who had the idea originally, please let =-black-eye- know! :)
=-black-eye- gives big "thanks" to ^rocksicle for his support and also to =watchers -- without his project, he would have never started this one!
Also, if you have any questions, =-black-eye- is your man!
