In a world of digital photography and powerful image editors, possibilities for photography are seemingly limitless. Some photographers, however, still choose to impose restrictions and limitations upon their work. Just as poets can choose to impose rhyme and rhythm on their verse, photographers can choose tools and media that significantly constrain the outcome of their photographs. The element of welcome surprise and inimitable affects, however, often accompany these restrictions, making them worth the effort and the wait. This is certainly true of working with toy cameras. Light leaks and distortion from plastic lenses are among the incomparable affects that give character to the resulting photos. The Holga, the Diana camera, the Brownie camera, and the Pajtás are just a few of the cameras from which you can choose. They are inexpensive and they further allow you to choose from a wealth of film types.
There are a number of clubs on dA that exist to promote Toy Camera photography. dA's very own ^

Personally, I am a big fan of 'toy cameras'. They are awesome. Lomography.com is a great place to start.

Alice came to a fork in the road...
"Which road do I take?"she asked.
"Where do you want to go?"responded the Cheshire cat.
"I don't know,"Alice answered.
Then said the cat,"it doesn't matter"
