My main purpose in doing a monthly feature about (to my point of view) 'the best visual art' is to put in the same level as well wellknown artists and popular creations as unknown artists and under-exposed creations.
Artists need to be supported.

reports, June 18, 2006Tim Hildebrandt passed away on June 11th. He and his brother Greg are responsible for almost 5 decade's worth of influential artwork spanning multiple genres, including pin-ups, fantasy and comics. They created the original Star Wars poster and countless other memorable works for Marvel, Tolkien, Magic: The Gathering and countless more, as well as children's books, posters, and adverts. The impact and influence Tim and Greg have had on the art world is immeasurable.
