Well now the tables have turned and it's up to YOU to help represent the fantastic photography work on deviantArt in a special feature, choose an image you love and let me know about it, because in the end it is you that are the community and you that are the eyes of this site. Feature one piece in a deviantART frontpage news article. You will be named as the selecting person. Make another deviant happy. Show us what you love.

I announced before that 10 pieces would be selected and that you would choose which ones get a DD. But I've received so many good suggestions that i decided to select 20 devs and give out 5 DD's. These are the DD candidates suggested by you, the community. I like them all, but you must decide which artists get a Daily Deviation. 20 candidates and 5 DD's are waiting.

The community picks Part I:

A few decades ago people discovered how to capture an image by accident. Today, they do it on purpose when they combinate science to that accident. Photography isn't just the science in wich we capture light, it's also a way to someone to make art, where they can show magic when the photo combines emotion and imagination to a well developed skill.

The art of photography can be born with you already or you can also learn it, but that can take years of practice, but practice makes perfection, and when perfection is acheived, great works can come from you, even in the most strange places. The more you practice, the better the quality.

And the deviantArt community HAVE been experimenting, investigating, finding new and ingenious ways to express old ideas, and using the rich heritage within the history of photography to express new ideas.. and whatever methodology they use these people are on the leading edge of producing fantastic images. The selections are made by the community and as a result show that people care about other's work and want them to be recognized. That's the spirt of dA. Enjoy!
