These facts are important not only when you are looking for a job, but in any situation when you wish to showcase your work. I decided to share a few guidelines that might help you give the best of yourself and help you be a better profesional.

Do you take responsibility for what goes on around you, participate in community service, help take care of the environment, be a good neighbor, treat other people with respect and dignity, follow the rules of your family, your school, and your society? Digimarc Offer

$zilla774:iconzilla774: reports, July 14, 2006
Digimarc MyPictureMarc
MyPictureMarc Offer for dA Members!

Image theft is a threat that we all face the moment we post any of our art on the internet. There are many ways to protect your work from being stolen, but most of them involve heavily manipulating the image or even having to resort to including ugly watermarks which detracts from the beauty of the finished piece.

One of the best and least intrusive methods of protecting your image is to include a digital watermark. The advantage to this is it is invisible to the naked eye and is difficult to remove from the image, unlike a signature or copyright notice.

Digimarc, the leading light in the digital watermarking world is offering all deviantART members a substantial discount on their digital watermarking service, MyPictureMarc!

MyPictureMarc provides safe passage for your images. It provides security in multiple layers – digital watermarks, image linking and tracking, online backup, and visual watermarking. Working with major photo-editing tools like Adobe Photoshop, MyPictureMarc guards your collection from unlicensed use, on-location mishaps, or system errors back in the studio.

You can also use MyPictureMarc to include visual watermarking, track your image across the net and they offer online backup for all your images.

All Digimarc MyPictureMarc products, including digital watermarking and image tracking services, are available to deviantART members at a staggering 20% off!

Offer is available from 14th July until 11th August 2006

To active the offer simply use the coupon code deviantART to receive your discount.

No, my popup blocker isn't saying anything, the link just opens a new tab with a "server not found". Either the links are broken or the site is experiencing difficulties.

I prefer to put a little "Kester" over a bit of the image. This tool is good for proof the image is yours, but you have to find people stealing it first. Tagging it just makes it harder for the initial stealing, though you could use both together to be most effective I guess.

ok, looks like they are experiencing technical problems, I'm getting the same reply now. Maybe the sheer volume from the offer has caused meltdown ;)
