Just in time for V5, the Anime & Manga, Anthro and Cartoons & Comic Galleries have been completely revamped and are now stand-alone sections along side Digital Art, Traditional art, Photography, ect. These changes will allow for a much stronger community feel among these large communities in deviantART, and will also allow users who do not particularly care for these styles of artwork to avoid them, if they so choose.

New features in the revamp include:
The addition of Vector and 3D galleries to all three sections to allow for easier browsing of your favorite art style
A new Mixed Media sub-section has been added to the Traditional Media sub-galleries of all three sections
Seperate sub-galleries for Comic Strips and Comic Pages
Anime-styled comics now have their own Manga gallery
Anime-styled fan comics now belong under the new Doujnshi section
Due to popular demand, a Horror/Macabre sub-section has been added to the Anthro section

A few additional things to keep in mind: Non-Anime/Cartoon/Comic/Anthro styled fanart should be placed in the Fanart section under the Digital/Traditional sections as before. The Customization section is unaffected by this change, so all your Anime/Cartoons/Comic/Anthro styled wallpapers, icons, ect (Which do not contain unauthorized third party materials as outlined in :faq8: will still be placed under Customization.

We realize that this will mean that some artists will need to relocate some of their submissions, we hope that users will appreciate this change. Please take a moment to look over your galleries and see if any of the new sub-sections will provide a better home for your artwork. We hope you will enjoy the new galleries and sub-sections!
