dA's 6th Birthday will take place on August 7th 2006 and the MN@ Team will be running, sponsoring and inventing events throughout the day, providing you with special guest appearances, senseless games and contests. We'll be giving out subscriptions and other deviantART goodies in #devart , #birthday, and #TheShoutbox throughout the celebrations. Make sure you're prepared to earn them though!!

Think you know your music trivia? Well this is sure to find out. @rapidograph will be putting on his gameshow host gold suit and black bowtie in #devart from approx 12pm to 5pm PDT. If you can answer the questions based around Music Trivia from the same year that deviantART was launched then you might very well find yourself with a prize!

#photographers will be celebrating deviantART's 6^th birthday by holding a special Thumbhour Event with special guest Critics. Join us on August 7^th at 4PM EST (your local time here) and have your Photography critiqued by $chix0r, ^alchemism, +suzi9mm, ^superkev, %fangedfem, and others.

Photographers will also be holding special rounds of Photo-Trivia!
I heard a rumour there will be prizes given out!

#manipschat, ran by the the club *Manipulators will be running festivities throughout the day including random dA, internet and manipulation trivia, Manipulation Ping-Pong, Manipulation Scavenger hunt, and much more!

#dAmnNazis will handing out subscriptions through various contests.

#clowntown will be full of clown chaos and chances for you to win prizes. Take part in the clown trivia treasure hunt, logo contest and take a pic of yourself dress like a clown! You might even be lucky enough to find a very important clown lurking around there on the day!

#extendedRP are holding a roleplay party for all you roleplay addicts. Furry suits, birthday parties, the works.

#digitalmedia are holding a day long art challenge. Channel mods will suggest a theme, and everyone playing in the room will have an hour or so to complete any kind of digital artwork to match with the theme. Winners will be picked each turn and they will all be featured in the next *DMchat journal.

#flashers will be holding flash challenges and a whole heap of other exciting contests.

#designerscouch will be launchging their new and improved chat and giving a way a few goodies throughout the celebrations.

#thumbshare will also be giving away prizes, as well as a chance for you to promote your own artwork which is created on the day of our birthday!

#lolwat will be utter dAmn birthday fun just as well, with random subs being handed out.
