The Surreal Nature Contest is a contest for photomanipulators to show their natural side. They will be given a chance to be one with nature and win many prizes while doing so. Hosted by =failingjune and *autumnscene.


Surreal:

Adjective
1. Having qualities attributed to or associated with surrealism: "Even with most facilities shut down ... a few mavericks managed to slip into the park to sample the almost surreal emptiness before the shutdown ended." (Peter H. King). 2. Having an oddly dreamlike quality.


Nature:

Noun
1. The world of living things and the outdoors: the beauties of nature. 2. A primitive state of existence, untouched and uninfluenced by civilization or artificiality: couldn't tolerate city life anymore and went back to nature. 3. Theology Humankind's natural state as distinguished from the state of grace.

Rules:

You must use at least one stock of a model (male or female is your choice)
Your entry must include some sort of nature and be surreal.
Note =failingjune or *autumnscene with your entry
A maximum of 2 deviations per person
Your entries must be submitted after or on August 11th
Your deviation must be submitted on or before September 20th


Prizes:
1st place will win a 3 month subscription, a 1 month journal feature by =failingjune and *autumnscene
2nd place will win a 1 month subscription, a 2 week journal feature by =failingjune, *autumnscene, and ~Nestalgica
3rd place will win a 1 week journal feature by =failingjune, *autumnscene, *Chibi-Tuna-chan and ~neverendingyou
