Hey Hexe - Where did the Help Desk and FAQ go to?

`hexentanz:iconhexentanz: reports, August 12, 2006
Since the version 5 changes many have questioned if we have done away with the Desk and FAQ.

The answer is no, they're still there and can now be visited by scrolling to the bottom of most pages and clicking on the "Help" link, which is located on the right side of the footer.

Didn't one of the Admin's journals discuss moving the help back up top? I personally think this would be very useful.

Also, off subject... it would be nice to be able to click "scraps" on our deviations again. It's sooooo much easier to "clean up" our galleries without having to go through 5 steps to put something into scraps.

Thanks

Would it be worthwhile making the Help link more prominent somehow? Just a thought... :hmm:

It takes quite a bit to get used to that, it was way easier to spot with that big orange question mark at the top, than now, as a tiny light-green link on the bottom ^^;

:| Btw, can you clean up the code - it's still faulty ('onnnclick', etc. ...) - check [link] :pc:
:iconlazybutt:
I don't see why it has to be so small and not noticable. :hmm:

But, thanks for pointing it out. ;)
:iconmontemplar:
Maybe a more comprehensive gallery management system would be the answer - you could then move multiple items to Scraps or to Storage, retrieve stuff from Storage, assign multiple items to new gallery sections, set critique levels, etc.

$lolly has a journal on bugs, you should check it out, you will see many things are known such as this.

Yeah I think the help would be better on the top again :(
I´m glad that the bugs are disappearing :D

Yes this is in discussion, but in the meantime, i'm informing people where to find it so my email stops blowing up. ;)

As for the scraps issue, you will want to mention this to $lolly as he is handling all v5 related issues in one of his previous journals.

I've already found it by myself, but I really think that it should be more prominent and on top of the site.
