Every month in Comics and Cartoons, we are asking professionals to answer some questions asked by the aspiring comic artist or writer. Since there is never a single correct answer, several people are polled and their answers are compiled into one article, providing insight from different angles.
We challenge writers and artists to self publish new material for this week, and offer it to their local stores. We ask for retailers to take this as an opportunity to showcase local independent talent on the new release shelves. We encourage fans to break from their buying habits and try something new.
I love finding US sources that are recognizing the growing luffily world of anime. This interview was quite nifty, and I was impressed by Natsuki Takaya's responses.
Wow, that's pretty interesting and the fact that Time Magazines knows about doujin amazes me. Usually when you see articles about Anime/manga the writer seems to be....a tad ignorant. Nice to see some research being done, but then again this is TIME.
I'm fairly new to the whole anime thing and just started understanding the concept of doujin and manga. I like it! This article is another opened door, thanks for sharing.
Maybe write a little more about your opinion and all... gives us some news. All you pretty much did was tell us you liked it and where to find it; report it to us!
Hmm, while I do like the discovery and spreading word of it, I agree with wrighton. Probably would have been nice if you said a bit more than what you did.
Still, nice job. ^_^

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
