Solution for v5 bug in poetry and prose

~PlanetaryFox:iconPlanetaryFox: reports, August 12, 2006
Many of you may have noticed that when you submit Poetry or Prose, that the first letter of each line is partialy covered by the stuff on the left side of the page. Well, to solve this, simply hit the space bar 2 times at the start of each line. When you submit, the first line will go back to its normal position, but the rest of the piece will be fully viewable.

Its interesting that placing your text within blockquote tags doesn't alleviate the problem.

I always did this anyway; it doesn't necessarily fix the issue. Although, if you want the first line to be at the same indentation as the other lines, insert a line of < i > < / i > minus spaces before the first line of your text.

I think the problem is that, in the CSS, the borders are shrunk but the text is left alone. So even if you use block quote, the borders are still messed up.

Sorry for the late reply. I never got any messages saying that people commented on my news article.
The problem has been fixed now, but what were you talking about? "blockquotes"
I don't know what those are.
