I know some may see this as an issue only for BBW models, but really think about it, how many of you have gotten comments that were not helpful in any way, just hurtful, rude and cruel.
I know we can not regulate manners but I think the difference between critiquing someones work and insulting them personally needs to be addressed

How to get FREE ART

*sererena:iconsererena: reports, August 16
Ok, so the title is a little sensationalistic, but I was afraid "How to Make Your Collaborative Project Succeed" was a kind of boring title.

Have a project and need help? Don't have a professional budget? Here are some ways to recruit people for your project.

Nip Netstalking in the Bud

~sanjouin-dacapo:iconsanjouin-dacapo: reports, 1d 20h ago
Net stalking is one of the more unpleasant things one can experience when using a forum or art website such as deviantart. The boundaries of real life are often blurred or ignored, resulting in skirmishes, flame wars, or long episodes of stalking by someone the target doesn't know. Even though this stalker often cannot hurt you physically, knowing that you are being followed can be scary. Here are some tips on preventing or lowering the likelihood of being stalked, as well as avoiding becoming a stalker yourself.

Save the internet!

~rg11389:iconrg11389: reports, August 16, 2006
The companies argue they should be able to do this to allow latency sensitive transfers like VoIP to have low latency, but exec.s have admitted to wanting to abuse the system. Web sites will load faster if the owner pays more money to the telecommnications companies. This is obviously bad for us users and it prevents the Internet from being used the way it was originally intended: free transfer of knowledge and data limited only by the speed of one's hardware.

Good topic, in my opinion, for a news article here on dA, as the internet is obviously very important to us. For future articles, however, more of a write-up would be nice. There's a lot going on with this issue to write about. Sentors! Celebrity endorsements! Bills! Mobilizing bloggers! The total idiocy of Ted Stevens! It would also be nice to know the latest developments.
You've got the link, and you share some of your thoughts, but there's a lot more you do with news articles. :)

(Both my senators are for net neutrality.)

The topic is a little old and the campaign is pretty well know to the internet community. Like `bananaprincess said, it would have been nicer to have seen a longer write up, or maybe a quote from a more recent development along with the link.

Yes, this has been going on for quite some time, however it's nice that you're trying to spread the word around on what is a fairly important topic for all Internet users.

It's like this...

1. It's not an article if you do not make an investigation out of the subject and present the facts around it to the reader.

2. It's not news if you just heard about it and try to tell people something that (as a matter of fact) we kinda know.

3. Somebody told you this before, you didn't even mentioned it is called Net Neutrality.

I look forward to your next participation, when you take into account at least some pointers that you might find at [link] so you can too save the internet.
