Riding for the Disabled Association of Australia (RDAA) is looking for a new national image.
Operating in Australia for over 40 years, RDAA provides confidence building equestrian activities to people with disabilities. Represented in each State and Territory, RDAA offers people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities, access to riding and carriage driving improving self esteem and confidence, physical wellbeing and providing an opportunity for people with disabilities to set themselves achievable challenges.
It is not only people with a disability that get a great deal from RDAA. The many volunteers who contribute to RDAA within our community gain a great deal from their involvement. In current community development terms, RDAA builds communities and their capacity, as well as supports individuals and their families.
RDAA has been well served by its existing logo. But, its time for a change.
A national logo competition is being announced in RDAA Awareness Week and celebrations are being held across the country to herald the competition. The aim is to get as many of the RDAA family, school kids, TAFE students and others to put together their ideas for a new logo that describes the important role and activities of this well recognised national programme.
