reports, August 19, 2006Time Magazine, known for its very presigious "Man of the Year" award has released this years list of 50 Coolest Websites. This years awards list such wonders as YouTube, MySpace and The Human Clock, but that is where the coolness ends.
Google Spreadsheets? Kayak? Kids-in-Mind? These are very useful, yes, but are they cool? Sadly not. Minding for over-protective parents, and helping with business issues is not cool.
They miss such gems as Wikipedia, Ananova and, of course, deviantART. Clearly the people at Time Magazine need to re-think their idea of "cool" before next years list, and try to include more websites are are just that...Cool.
