Rainbow of Poetry: Orange

`bananaprincess:iconbananaprincess: reports, August 20, 2006
Welcome to the second edition of Rainbow of Poetry. Each week, our contribution team from the literature community selects poems that relate to a certain color of the rainbow. This series also highlights the much-improved v5 search and new literature previews, as both have made finding poems to feature much easier.

This week's color is orange, which turns out to be a fruitful color for poetry. The citrus is brought up in many of these pieces, including ~oddlyaromatic's delightful musings, ~InvisibleTeacup's capture of a meditative moment, and =pavillion's evocative one-line poem. For other poems, the connection to "orange" is more fleeting. In ~myloveliestsequence's piece, it is never mentioned, but `krissie found the color implied in this beautiful poem. We hope you enjoy this orchard of poetry!
