reports, September 4, 2006I rarely do this but tonight I feel like ranting and randomly it happens to be here.
The ''crochunter'' dies and proves a sad truth:
Television is definately tainting our collective uncounscious in a terrible way and making us pay a higher psychic price we can imagine.
I was in one of the Damn chatrooms (trivia
) when every person that got in the room mentioned Mr Erwin's ''tragedy''.
I think Steve finally got to reach his goal.
When you palpate the dissimulated sexual organs of deadly poisonous wild animal just to see if they are male or female on a daily base.....and that for no scientifical or ecological motiv... just to entertain the million of bovine-mcdonald-tv-addicts ....well your bound to die. Steve Erwin was on tv. People watch tv. TV sucks.
I didn't know Steve personnaly ...have nothing against or for him.
For everyone who feel sad and empty from the crocdude's death just know that 1000's of people died of malnutrition that day and every other day. These people weren't putting scorpions inside their mouth while juggling with 6 sting rays.
For the sensitive fans of the ''croc'' I'm not saying I din't like him. Some of his action might have help the environment and people to be less Ignorant about nature. I'm just saying that we should all put our television in the garbage, think for ourselves and question authority.

The intention behind posting this as a news was a ''wake-up call'' for people to realise that the emotions they show and the importance that they accord to this man's death is another proof of the negative effect of tv.
I appreciate your comment and feel you should express opinions instead of vaguely questioning useless aspect of what you read.

While I agree TV is mainly a negative influence, I'd sooner the masses mourn an a positive role model than some drug addicted rock star that died of an overdose.

There is more colours then black and white.
More choice then yes or no, left or right.
Try orange and maybe sometimes. Flexibility without pre-conceived convictions can be fun try that too.
This is not about tv either is it about if I like or not Steve erwin.
