dAv5 brought some changes for dA literature, one of those being a change to the way we preview literature deviations. Rather than seeing a visual art preview or the standard dA literature preview, you now see a summary of the first few lines of text. This makes identifying and browsing literature deviations much easier.
However, in some cases a visual preview complemented the text submission and some deviants requested that the option to upload a visual piece of art with a literature deviation be returned. We listened
You can now upload a visual image with literature deviations and this image will show above the text when viewing a piece of written art. If you choose not to submit a visual image there will be no change to how the deviation is currently displayed.
You should also be able to view previews submitted prior to v5.
There will be no change to the way literature deviations are previewed, with the first few lines of text showing, though this may be tweaked!
If you stumble across any issues regarding literature previews please report them in the usual way via the +
helpdesk.

"When I became convinced that the universe is natural, that all the ghosts and gods are myths, there entered into my brain, into my soul, into every drop of my blood the sense, the feeling, the joy of freedom."
