I like to pick my categories by what is going on in my life at the moment. As most of you know, I have an adorable little 3 month old, ~LillianAva, and I’ve been tossing back and forth the idea of offering photos of her as stock photography. I see cute things that I want to do, and then I feel funny giving permission to people I’ve never met, to save, store, and edit photos of my daughter on their computers. It’s different with photos of myself, because I can defend myself. True, there is always identity theft, but my motto in life is that you “Can’t live your life afraid of everything” Yes, we have a names for that… and it always ends in "phobia"

For those of you who post photos of your child, please remember not to scan in your JC Penny sittings and post them. Please post your own photos. And for those of you who will be using these stock images remember to follow the stock-provider’s rules. It’s common sense that these parents don’t want their kid’s photos used in hate based or sexually themed manipulations!

So this week I’d like to highlight all the fearless mothers and fathers who have been kind enough to let photomanipulators, pencil artists, digital artists, painters, and the likes use photos of their beloved children. First let’s take a look at some awesome work made with children stock:
