"We hold in our hands, the most precious gift of all: Freedom. The freedom to express our art. Our love. The freedom to be who we want to be. We are not going to give that freedom away and no one shall take it from us!" -Diane Frolov and Andrew Schneider
Freedom...how come most of us only think about it when it has been taken from us? I thought about that this afternoon when I was doing the dishes at work (excellent time to brainstorm about life...hanging above dirty plates). So I decided to come up with a little freedom themed contest.
Freedom can be many things...you can be free to say what you want, free to do what you want, free to be what you want. It's up to you to give meaning to this word. Freedom can be found in the little things in life, like walking your dog without an army breathing down your neck.
Prices.

1st place: 1 year dA subscription, print of choice from my gallery.

2nd place: 3 months dA subscription and a print of choice from my gallery.

3rd place: 1 month subscription.
Rules.

This is a photography only contest. You are allowed to use photoshop, but don't go over the top. Stick to analogue techniques (dubble exposure, contrast adjustments etc.

The deviation must be created after the 17th of september.

Deadline is the 1st of January 2007, so you have a while. USE that time to brainstorm, try out concepts etc.

One entry per person, so think before hitting the submit button.

Post a link to this contest in your deviation description.
You can send me the link to your deviation in a note and I will post it in my journal.
Be creative! Think beyond the cheesieness and please spread the word.
Have a nice day and don't forget to boogie every once in a while.
