It's been over a year that I've set this stylish design as a wallpaper.
Looking at it now, it still has the same power to captivate me as it did then. A great piece made by an artist with a very good eye for design and detail.

This artist has a good grasp of capturing an expression in a dramatic style, which in this case, works perfectly. Set this piece as your wallpaper and I promise it will affect you in some way.

I love dark-art! I would imagine that the artist who created this piece shares the same love for dark-art as I do. A dark wallpaper created with great taste and with the a right amount of creepiness, which makes this work a true dark wallpaper classic.

A rollercoaster ride without the actual rollercoaster beeing involved! The twisted forms and shapes are just breath-taking. A beautifully crafted creation, with a color scheme that will take your mind to another level.

I currently use this wallpaper and don't think i will change it any time soon. This is one of those pieces that you could stare in to it forever, and every time you look at it again you'll find new elements.

Despite my love of more darker wallpapers, Emensity by *h16 has been on rotation on my desktop for sometime. I love the clean, crisp and fluid style.

Nephilim Returned by ^zilla774 is dark and evil and somewhat comforting of an insomniac night. I love how the light is used to create the darkness, and to enhance the sinister ambience.

Dark, sexy, and minimalistic. What more does a desktop need? NonAngelique by =neeta was one of the first wallpapers I ever downloaded from deviantART, and will always be one of my favourites.

blue floating wallpaper by =karincoma brings together femininity and slick design skills to make a classy wallpaper. I love how even the make up on the girl is achieved with echoes of the patterns which you can find across the wallpaper. Nifty stuff.

I really dig the vector style in evil.prevails.bluesgold by *j3concepts. Having this on my desktop brings a contemporary minimalistic style with just the right hint of evil. Perfect!

It's true, it's clean, it's funny, and it's marvellously ironic.

An all-time classic that simply cannot be overlooked. Again, funny and clean, highly original and a bit twisted!

This whole cleanliness thing is getting out of hand, but Heiko users pastelle's masterfully in a laid-back hip-hop masterpiece.

There's something intangible, magical, indefinably wonderful about this wallpaper; who knows if it is the balance between the colours, forms, blur or photography, but this one sits so sweetly it hurts.

This piece has had a stack of attention, but my god does it deserve it. The detail, the innovation, the sheer epic brilliance of it makes for a cracking wallpaper!

This one makes me smile every time it's on my desktop. Desktops are for a ton of different purposes but when you find a wallpaper that can put you in a good mood, it's worth saving. What I love is the little eyes all looking at the main character with a mix of awe and fear. I love using this one at work. People walk by my computer, stop, then give me that "what the..." look. Makes my day.

Old school to the bone and still it rocks my desktop. The amount of details hidden in this one is awesome. Every time this one is on my computer I find myself looking at it, finding new things within all the different textures and models. Abstract with just the right amount of technical 2D work, this one is completely solid.

I love blue when it comes to desktops, it's such an easy on the eye color. The blue first caught my attention but when I looked deeper at the image, I found a beautiful wallpaper full of details that is masterfully put together. The dolphins are a nice touch when mixed with all the other elements in and around the bottle. With a lot of dolphins work out there, this one is on a level all its own.

From one of the best fractal artists to ever post on DA, she opened a lot of eyes when this one was posted. The first time I saw this was when it hit the front page and my thought was "a fractal on the front page?" After looking at the minimalist approach, I was blown away by how smooth the colors were blended together, and how the colors are so rich against a white background. Two years later this one is still in my favorite fractals list.

This one works on every level for me. The colors are smooth and easy on the eyes. I love how the wintery colors give way to the rain clouds of spring, which in turn bring the bright flowers, adding another great element to the image. I find this one has a graceful flow to it while still holding to a technical approach in some of the 2D work. I usually disable my wallpaper program so this one stays on my desktop longer.
