Unfinished Tolkien Tale Completed by Son

`xork:iconxork: reports, September 19, 2006
J.R.R Tolkien's Tale of the Children of Hurin, abandoned by the author in 1918, has been completed by his son, Christopher R. Tolkien, and will be published next spring.

The younger Tolkien, who was also responsible for the posthumous completion of The Silmarillion and is the executor of his father's literary estate, has spent the last thirty years finishing the story, an account of the family of Hurin, the man who defied Melkor in the first age.
