The aim of the competition is much the same as that of artists.against.war itself, to produce art that can act in however small a fashion, as a vehicle of positive change in this bullet-ridden world. Art illustrating the absurd, sickening, indiscriminate and brutal futility of war as a means of progress. Art that brings people to see the reality rather than the rhetoric of war.

Prizes include the chance to be exhibited widely throughout Italy, subs, and just maybe... that what you create will act as another brick in the wall between those mendaciously warmongering few who seek monetary or political aggrandizement through conflict, and the innocent many who are wounded and slaughtered.
