What’s happening?
The past two months saw the flower-club surpass 1,300 members. A big achievement in just over a year, and it’s such an enthusiastic and thriving community with submission notes pouring in each day. We’re excited! It also saw =Liek with :: My old friend the blues ::
and *Eileithyia with “Little Hope?” win the Featured Deviation Poll for August and September respectively.

Club Forum!
As the club continues to grow, it’s been hotly debated in the forums as to whether the club gallery should remain open for submissions, only submit contest winners or should the admin filter the things that come through. The club has always been about letting the community have an outlet for their artwork, and that will always be the case, but as the club continues to grow, this issue is revisited often. Next Club Competition, are you submitting?
Well, it’s been a few weeks, and we’re keen to get something underway. It’s now been over 12 months since the creation of the club and our current ID, so what better way to celebrate the next 12 months than with a new ID! Club members are invited to create something they feel best represents the =flower-club and submit it to us.. Prizes and cudos available.. See [link] for more details!

Deviant Spotlight

Narabia is a female deviant who has graced our community since March 2006. Hailing from Poland, her unique perspective on life seems somewhat romantic when you wander through the beautiful garden which is her dA gallery. Many lonely and haunting images, reflective masterpieces and unusual but simply adorable angles and frames adorn her collection, and whether it’s a single daisy which screams solitude or the vivacious curves of a leaf reminding you of a woman, you’ll be sure to find some hint of pure essence and spirit in her gallery which speaks to you.
