CSS in Journals Available For Seniors and Subscribers
If you are a senior member or a subscriber you can now try out CSS in your journal. Some of you may be familiar with some of the administrators on the site and their spiffy journals, for example, $
chix0r, $
realitysquared, $
hexentanz, ^
thespook ( who already has a brilliant what not to do journal up
here and many others.
Once this goes past beta testing it will become available for all subscribers, and of course, senior members.
Please keep in mind this is for users with an advanced knowledge of the subject.
Feel free to leave feedback here and let us know what you think and if you encounter any issues in its use pertaining to how it affects the site or your page. Please do not leave issues which are directly related to your lack of knowledge on how to use
CSS properly. If you do not know how to use it yourself, ask a friend who does or do a bit of research on it. As GI Joe says, knowing is half the battle
Also, feel free to leave links to journals to show off what you have done. A possible showcase of some of the best examples is something that could possibly happen
In the future we will be opening up a category for people to upload CSS for all users to put in their journal which will open up a lot of potential for making this a community interactive thing.
Abuse of CSS
One thing we would also like to make clear is intentional abuse of CSS to distort page layout, or otherwise disrupt the function of the site will unfortunately lead to an immediate banning.
Changing anything outside of the journal ( meaning elsewhere on the page )itself would also constitute as abuse for example.
