The general theme ... “A Gothic Horror on Halloween”

ONLY =DAUnderworld CHAT ROOM members may enter. This means, if you are classified in the chat roomas a Mortal, Vampyre, Lycan, or CovenLeader, you may enter.

Please do NOT submit just any random monster, or an unfinished piece for example, it has to make you think of the theme. Whether it's you in a costume, a creative photo, a manip, a piece of original art work, any number of things, as long as it has to do with the topic, poetry or a short story, enter it!

All submissions are posted to YOUR OWN ACCOUNT, with a note sent to =DAUnderworld stating you have an entry you would like to enter into the contest, with a link to your deviation. DAU Staff members will post each link into the DAU journal daily, so keep checking back for new submissions. When the deadline for submissions comes (Sunday, October 22nd), DAU Ops members will set up a method for everyone to vote, and the three with the most votes wins. The winners will be announced Sunday October, 29th. Winners will have their submissions posted into the =DAUnderworld gallery with a link back to the original submission where all comments are to be left.

The Rules:
1. No personal, racial, or sexual preference attacks and nothing sexually explicit.
2. Given the theme, violence and gore can be used, but don't go over the top with it. If the staff deems it too graphic, we will not submit it to the contest. Remember, young kids have access to this.
3. Submissions MUST be related to the theme.
4. Submissions must be in by 22nd Oct.
5. Only one submission per person.

Prizes:
1st place - 1 year Subscription
2nd place - 3 Month Subscription
3rd place - 1 Month Subscription

If You are not a member of =DAUnderworld and you would like to participate, Please join us at #DAUnderworld on dAmn and get yourself a membership status in our room. Then you will be eligible to participate,

Winners will be featured in the =DAUnderworld journal and have their user ID's posted in the topic of the room, as well as having their submission posted in the featured spot on =DAUnderworld's main user page. This means you will literally have hundreds, maybe thousands more seeing your work when its all said and done. The advertising and hype that will most likely come with this competition will also attract more attention to the winners and the channel so it's a great opportunity for everyone.
