Right.
I'm sure that the majority of you are aware of the sudden interest in revamping the official emoticon list, seeing as from what people have been told, it should've been done ages ago. That
freakin' llama just went to show how seemingly easy it was to add an emote to the list and have it ready for public use on a whim.
It's not even a proper emote. It's from Word's clip art pack. Jeebus...
/me does not like the llama.
Anyway, forgetting that abysmal emote, it's time for some mass emotist action. The ball's already started rolling thanks to *
livius and =
zacthetoad, and numerous emotists such as =
sereneworx have begun making potential replacements for the list's current rubbishness.
So 'tis time. Gather up emotes from the list, and find something good enough to replace it. Make your own emote to replace something, pitch an idea if you're not confident enough to make it yourself - you may even get an emotist walking you through the process; you gotta start somewhere.
Happy searching!! Keep an eye on *
emotiverse's journal; it'll be filled with *
livius's, =
zacthetoad's and many other deviants choices before the day is up.

I'm taking a zip file of the emote legend that =Zikes made for me and I'm sitting down and make a bloomin' emote. For once in a million years
I really hope the legend gets revamped soon rather than random emotes added, it's in desperate needs of it.

Oh I dunno, I think the llama is a necessary addition to dA's emoticon lists.
The pointless, irrational nature of the emote nicely depicts the current administration's absolute power to do whatever they want, however absurd, without any fear of an effective public backlash.
