A project in which a whole community create art journals for a year. One page per day or relevant scribbles. We'll share tips and inspirations to get us all through the year and showcase our work amongst the blogs. May be time for a few songs around the camp fire, if we're lucky.
The Show Them You Love Them contest is to benefit and raise awareness for the abused and unwanted animals you find in shelters worldwide. We are trying to help show the DA community the love that we pet owners have for our animals, or to show the pain and desolation of those lonely few who roam the streets without love and affection. This contest is open to everyone, whether you have an animal or not, and has two divisions: Amateur and Professional. The Grand Prize is a 2 year subscription, free print, 3 news articles and 31 journal features!
This contest has received a fantastic amount of acclaim and has been sponsored by multiple clubs within the DA community! Please love this article if you support this contest and help spread the word by advertising in your journal! Even if you only get 3 or 4 page views per day, it can still make a difference in this contest!
The new method the Color-Me-Club will be displaying artwork to its members. The steps to submitting line art, however, remains completely unchanged, so worry not line artists!

This feature was brought together by my watchers and hours of browsing galleries for inspiring pieces that have gone unnoticed. Here are the results, one hundred beautiful photographs with under one hundred favorites. Let's give these artists the attention they deserve <3
The Executive Producers are Kelli Davis (*Etoli), Callista Barrett (*lista04), and Cassie Fuertez (*CleverFoxImages).
Feel free to follow our progress on our collaboration page. We will be needing feedback from interested viewers throught the entire production process.
This would have been a very interesting article, indeed, if you have included some of the very important information regarding your project. You could have added a few paragraphs about what your "project" is, who are the "exec. producers" behind the project and what sort of feedback you were looking for. If you need any more assistance on how to use the news system properly, please go here:
I see what you are saying, but I really didn't want to put a lot of writing in this message...it was just supposed to be an announcment sort of thing...I think that still qualifies as news, personally. *lista04
I can see where you're coming from this, but I shall elaborate on my first comment, as you seem to mis-understood.
This article could have been an interesting article, no doubt. I think that some people may have had a nice responce to this as they could get involved and such with your feedback. But, in my opinion (yes, opinion, this does not go with what the whole of dA would think) this article could have been so much better! If you would have described a lot more about the project at hand, given a few links to the journals that you have in your club, and possibly explained what sort of feedback you were hoping to recieve, you would have gotten more than you already have, if any.
As I've said before, I think that you could have explained a bit about who the people are behind the project, so the readers could get a better feel of how you run your project, and everything else.
I feel that you are not going to take this advice as helpful, so I shall stop commenting on your news article. Thank you for listening...
Thanks for your input. I appreciate it, really. This was the first news article I ever posted, so I will take your thoughts into consideration for my next one. I'm sorry if I made you feel like I was not willing to be receptive... I actually wanted to ask if you could link me to an article you've seen that would be a particularly good (and successful) example of something I should do for next time...because if this news feed is a good way to get attention on dA I would like to utilize it...especially for this project I am involved in. I think it is going to be something really special.
I must say, an animation made by a group that allows me to watch your progress is very impressive! I'm excited that you're doing this project in this way and will await future uploads!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

And accordingly, it says that anything appealing to a mass amount of people (which in this case is ALL of DA) qualifies as news.
There are NO stipulations as to what the article has to have as far as content.
In that case, I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to point out here. And i apologize if I seem a bit annoyed.
