Your view of news and mine are more than meets the eye. I don't see what the problem is, especially since half of what I see go up in the news archive is really no news to me. I just wanted to do something special for my little sister's birthday and you seem to have a problem with it. Next time you decide to complain about a good cause, think about your own family members and how far you would go to ensure their happiness. I don't know about you, but family is very important to me. And I would give more than an arm to make sure they stay in good health. Don't bother me with petty statements like..."Sorry, but this isn't news." By posting this up, I have made my little sister's birthday more special. Two people had responded to this and that is more than appreciated. Your comment is NOT appreciated.

Did you even read the FAQ? How is this news that benefits the community? It isn't. All you are doing is asking people to visit your sister's page, which isn't community news. This belongs in your journal, not in News.

Sure, fine, whatever. I won't EVER post anything else here. Don't you ever find appreciation in what anyone does for others? I do art for the benefit of everyone.... or are you going to shun that too?

You're essentially saying "Go visit this person's page". No art features, no other reason but because it's your sister.
