Serious Samurize is a free system monitoring and desktop enhancement tool. Unlike many other system monitoring programs, Samurize can easily be customized even if you don't know anything about coding, since the configs are created in WYSIWYG editor.
And now you have
a chance to earn money with your kickass config!
It's all very simple: read the rules, make a config, submit it and win.
The rules:

All work (including the config itself, graphics, icons and so forth) submitted must either be your own work, or you have obtained the written permission of the author. This excludes scripts and plugins that have been freely distributed on samurize.com.

Your config must be completely new.

Only one entry.

The judges' decision is final and no correspondence shall be entered into.

Samurize Crew Members may not participate.
More rules and guidelines
here.
Submitting:
The configs should be submitted
here.

Create a topic and use the name of your config as a title.

Remember to post a screenshot of the config, some kind of description and the config itself in a SAM file (use ImportExport tool) with all the necessary plugins, graphics etc.
Before you submit the config, you should make sure that it's as
compatible as possible. Ask yourself these kind of questions:

Is my config so huge that poor people with their tiny monitors will only see apart of it?

Is it possible that some people don't have 10 drive partitions?

Are Finnish tv shows globally interesting?
Deadline:
Entries will close on the
6th November 2006.
It may seem that the competition started over a month ago. That is because it started over a month ago. But better late than.. and so on.
And finally.. The Prizes:
Samurize's new partner, a web hosting provider
Apis Networks, has kindly offered to sponsor the competition. And the prizes are:
1st prize: $150 USD + 1 year free hosting with Apis Networks
2nd prize: $100 USD
3rd prize: $50 USD
(The hosting prize cannot be exchanged for cash.)
Summary:
Rules: Simple.
Submitting: Easy.
Prizes: Excellent.
Now, stop reading this and start working on that config! If you haven't used Samurize before, don't worry, stop reading this, learn to use Samurize and start working on that config. And if you have anything to ask don't hesitate to visit the
support forum. You may also want to check ~
samurize here at DeviantART.
Good luck!
